I welcome you to the Department of Civil Engineering. The department has highly-qualified and highly experienced faculty. The department promises to produces the under graduates with the program outcomes defined by Washington Accord by exercising Outcome-Based Education approach. The department designed the outcome based curriculum for the better attainment of program outcomes.

The department has state-of-the-art laboratories with all equipment and software which cater to academic needs and fulfill authentic testing of materials for stakeholder

The civil engineering department has ability to produce the engineers with in depth Civil Engineering knowledge for analysis, design, construction and maintenance of various structures, additionally computer design skills, communication skills and management skills to satisfy the client better.

The department is well known for presenting consistently good academic results, good rate of students placements in renowned industries and excelling in co-curricular as well as extra-curricular activities.

The department trains the students to understand and solve real technical and social problems in Civil Engineering. We make professionals who practice for real construction projects problems and eventually become the leaders of the profession.

The department has students association under which, in every semester students conducts several programs such as expert/guest lectures by best faculties and professionals  of their domain knowledge and organizes various competitions in order to get satisfy their own interest and explore their abilities.

The department has signed MoU’s with various well established industries in surrounding area for students in-plant training and bring research and consultancy projects.

The department has a set up the advisory board comprising committee of industrialist, eminent academician which helps to bring industry standards in academic in order to bridge gap between industry and academics and further to improve department as per the advices of committee.

The department promotes the students to undergo and involve in research and development.

The department ensures that our graduates understand professional ethics and the value of service to their profession and society through involvement in community, state, and hence national organizations.

The department engage industrial visit yearly in order to understand construction methods, techniques and expose student to industrial working culture and to help student to connect and understand the academic skills and industry skills.
